1. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
“A Marine Biologist! I loved marine life and always wanted to study whales and dolphins, talk about a career change! While I definitely chose a better fit for me, I do enjoy living on the coast.”
2. To be successful you must love what you do; what do you do and why do you love it?
” I love helping people discover and define their own signature style. Whether its for their home, event or business, I believe everyone has a unique style and it is important to build your life around it. I challenge people to embrace their signature style instead of following the trends. Define your own trend! TBBC just so happens to have a fabulous signature style! “
3. How would Vogue describe your baby style back in the day?
“Classic baby with florals, lace and feminine details.”
4. Was there an item or accessory you recall disliking, but were forced to wear?
“Not really but my mom says that I was very opinionated about my wardrobe at the early age of 4. Signature style must start at an early age!”
5. In fashion blogger style, tell us about your child’s look.
“I love classic baby like pastels, smocking, monograms and lace. For my older boy, I love southern-inspired pieces like bow ties and Jon Jons for church, and fishing shorts, polos and smocked T-shirts for everyday. I also love thick cable knit sweaters and cardigans with cute leather loafers for winter. For Rhett, I tend to buy in the same color palette so I can easily mix and match pieces. (navy, emerald green, baby blue, red and yellow). For Lillian, I gravitate towards mint, pink, lavender and yellow to bring out her red hair!”
6. Since it’s #TBT, tell us your favorite “vintage” fashion icon.
“I love a little Jackie O mixed with Iris Apfel, classic with a bold twist!”
