As we begin our journey into 2024, we can’t help but reminisce on what a great last year we had. We absolutely loved our 2023, and as we reflect on all of the special moments, we wanted to highlight a few and share with all of you!

We were able to help and contribute to a handful of organizations that we hold close to our hearts. This list of organizations includes Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass, Kentucky Children’s Hospital, and Welcome Baby! We have been honored to help these amazing, impactful organizations, and would love to tell you more about them!

Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass has impacted its community by ensuring young people are ready and able to grow successfully! In 2022-2023 alone, they were able to reach 14,038 students locally. This number is substantial, and we are so lucky to watch this organization work its magic.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass is an incredibly special organization that allows families who are experiencing the hardships of illness and need for healthcare stay in a comfortable place nearby the medical facilities. They were able to help an astounding number of 418 families last year, an impact beyond words. In 2015, we designed a special bonnet to honor one of our very first mini models, Bennett. She was a natural in front of the camera with her sweet smile and cheerful disposition. When Bennett was 2 years old, she was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. Bennett was a strong and brave little fighter who gained her angel wings in October of 2015. From Wednesday, April 26th to Friday, April 28th, 15% of the net sales from online purchases from the Bonnets & Hats Collection were donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass in Bennett’s honor.

Welcome Baby is an organization that we have been lucky to team up with over the years. During the first week of November in 2023, T.B.B.C. helped by donating 15% of sales from our Layers of Love Collection to provide diapers for infant care packages for low-income mothers.

Kentucky Children’s Hospital is held near and dear to our hearts for a multitude of reasons. The Kentucky Children’s Hospital is not only able to provide medical care in an outstanding manner, but they also cater to children’s emotional needs. Every part of the care they provide is intentional. One of our favorite ways to contribute is allowing our team behind the Pink Door hand select gifts for children of all ages around the holidays, ensuring that even if Christmas is spent in the hospital, it’s made a little sweeter!

We are already looking forward to what 2024 has in store for us and can’t wait to see the impact each of these organizations have moving forward.
