Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit one of our retailers. Some friends invited my sister and me (and our husbands) to Ja Jolla to enjoy sunny California and attend the races at Del Mar. The girls took a day trip to LA and landed on The Blvd. at The Beverly Willshire for lunch. Two of our friends who live in the area joined us; it was such a treat.After lunch we made our way to The Beverly Hills Hotel where the first line of business was visiting the hotel boutique. I was so excited to see T.B.B.C. in the company of brands like Persol, Charlotte Olympia, and Bed Head Pajamas just to name a few.
After falling in love with a pair of $185 dollar pair of boy’s swim trunks (that Wakefield wouldn’t be able to wear until he is 10) I was wrangled out of the gift shop and directed to Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Patio. There, we ordered fruity drinks and toasted to friendships and life.
(I did make it out with a little souvenir) …And had my picture made overlooking the pool (cheese!).
Next time, I’d like to be on the pool deck; which means, I better get back to work!
